The MontreALL Commons is an artist-led, grassroots ad-hoc, pursuing Equity, Diversity and Inclusion in the Montreal theatre community.

In May 2018, the Montreal theatre community gathered over 2 days for the Montreal Diverse City Commons – Part 1.

THANK YOU – to everyone who came to the room and table to listen and share.

Thank you – for the respect and generosity with which you held those conversations, and held the space.

The work is not done, and there is more to discuss.
Stayed tuned for details about the outcomes of Part 1, and planning for Part 2.

MontreALL Diverse City Commons
May 18 & 19, 2018
at the Monument National – Le Café
1182 boul. St-Laurent, Montreal, QC

The MontreALL Diverse City Commons is a 2-day gathering of the Montreal English theatre community to reflect on our individual and collective progress towards inclusive work and workplaces. This sector-wide forum will bring together artistic and administrative leaders with independent practitioners to examine challenges and to share insight and best practices for greater inclusion in our programming, outreach, and institutions.

The MontreALL Commons seeks to centre important conversations about diversity and inclusion in a democratic framework, where all collaborators are invited to participate. Come be part of this unique opportunity to take a step in our own evolution — to make an important contribution to the national conversation shaping Canadian theatre.

ACCESSIBILITY: Le Café is wheelchair accessible. Relaxed seating will be available. ASL interpretation: Saturday 19th afternoon.
